Lincoln Drive Control: Continuously Controlled Damping
Welcome to the Lincoln driving experience. With its Lincoln Drive Control system, the Lincoln MKZ makes use of an advanced suite of sensors that constantly monitor suspension motion, body movement, steering and braking with up to 46 inputs every 2 milliseconds to help keep the car smoothly on track.
Three ride modes are available: Comfort, Normal or Sport.
Achieving a driving dynamic that’s responsive and controlled.
(i) Continuously Controlled Damping: Constantly monitors suspension motion, body movement, steering and braking; adjusts the suspension in milliseconds to deliver exceptional ride smoothness and handling responsiveness; offers Comfort, Normal and Sport driving modes.
(ii) Electric Power-Assisted Steering: Provides fluid steering feel at low speeds, firmer steering feel at higher speeds; Pull-Drift Compensation constantly monitors and corrects for road irregularities.
(iii) Active Noise Control: Advanced acoustics technology dramatically reduces or eliminates vehicle noises while enhancing the sounds that optimize the in-car acoustic

Departing from the conventional, designers put the
transmission controls in a vertical series of ergonomic
buttons on the instrument panel. For a sport-performance feel in a Lincoln MKZ, a press of the “S” button puts you in the Sport mode of the Lincoln Drive Control System. Enjoy sporty driving also by using the paddle shifters (not shown) located on the steering wheel.

Available Retractable Panoramic Roof
There is nothing else quite like the class-exclusive* available fully retractable panoramic roof, with a 1.4 m2 (15.2-sq.-ft.) glass panel offering a remarkable view and filling the cabin with natural light. The effective opening is the largest among sedans**. It took a lot of imaginative engineering to make it happen, and achieve the unexpected.

You know how it feels to find the perfect piece of art for your favourite room? It’s reminiscent of that.
A rush of satisfaction that leads the way to lasting
enjoyment. That’s how it feels to slide behind the

graceful lines of its interior styling embrace you,
while its airy spaciousness expands your view of the world.
Available Active Park Assist
Many a driver has gone around the block just to avoid parallel parking. Active park assist can help take the guesswork – and stress – out of it. Ultrasonic sensors measure open spaces and help find a parking spot as small as 1.2 times the length of your vehicle. When it does, you take your hands off the wheel, then watch the rear view camera screen as the system guides you into it, while you control the brake, shifter and accelerator.
We could all benefit from a little forward thinking. Thankfully, when you’re pulling into a space, the Forward Sensing System on MKZ sounds an audible tone if its sensors on the front bumper detect an object in front of your vehicle.
It’s important to have a sense of what’s happening around you. A Reverse Sensing System and rear view camera are both standard equipment on every MKZ. The warning sounds and full-colour visuals are helpful when you’re backing into or out of tight spaces. Plus, the camera can display visual guidelines to help you estimate distances.
